We hold this special day each month, on the first school day of the month, so be sure to
wotch the calendar for reminders. We welcome families to mest at Heritage Park and walk
your child up to school, We have several police officers at this area and also at the

During the month of Octobe, our students partcipoted in HULA
many bully prevention activities at JCM. Wee hosted a
bookmark contest school wide In which every student created
a bookmark to signify the importance of inclusion and
of everyone. One “winning” bookmark was chosen from each classroom and
acceptan
that student was given a coupon to spend at the School Store. Additional, we created 2
Unity Chain in the front hallway with the name of each student. Our big event was Unity
Day, and we hosted the BHS Unified Basketball Team, who demonstrated for us thet all
students can be successful and recognized for their strengths! It was a powerful event, and
