Games will be played on one-half of the court and the black lines are the boundaries. Before t he game both team captains will meet and play a game of rock, paper, scissors best 2 out of 3 for possession of the ball. The games will be 10 minutes long on a running clock unless an injury occurs or a timeout is called. Each team gets 2, 30 second timeouts. 2 Points for a basket inside the three-point line, 3 points for a basket outside the three-point line. If the ball touches the bottom of the backboard, touches the wire, or is thrown over the backboard, it is considered out of bounds and is a turnover. Substitutions are required every 5 minutes. The teams can decide the rotation of substitutes, but every player must sub-in every game. After each basket the opposing team gets possession. The ball must be checked at the top of the key after each basket. After checking the ball the team with possession NEEDS to pass the ball at least once from the check to a teammate. Each player gets 2 fouls, once they get 3 that player is out for the rest of that game. If a player is fouled at any time the team will keep possession of the ball and check up at the top of the key. In the case of a made basket (And 1) the team will count the points and regain possession. When the ball is stolen or rebounded by the defensive team it must be brought back to the three-point line in order for that team to be able score. (Cleared) The defensive team DOES NOT have to bring the ball back to the three-point line if they rebound an air ball. If the ball is rebounded by the opposing team after it hits the rim or backboard, then the team MUST bring the ball outside the three point line before taking a shot. Violations: Double dribble, travel violations, out of bounds, kickball, and personal foul. The Officials reserve the right to address unsportsmanlike conduct based on the degree of the offense. Minor Offense (first): 1 Verbal Warning Minor Offense (second): Suspended from remainder of game and subject to further disciplinary action Major Offense: (first): Suspended from remainder of game and subject to further disciplinary action 2 minutes of overtime will occur in the event of a tie at the end of regulation.
