Qualifications and Requirements: ‘A. An applicant for a Harbor Pilot appointment shall submit proofs/documents to confirm his qualifications, as follows: 4) A Filipino citizen; 2) Not more than fifty-five (55) years old at the time of publication of this ‘Announcement; 3) Of sound physical and mental condition with perfect and good moral character; 4) Holder of a Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) license as Harbor Pilot for the Pilotage District of Siain-Hondagua and Casigura B. The applicant shall submit the following documentary requirements: 1) An application letter together with a duly Swom Information Sheet/Biodata; 2) Certificate as Master Mariner, 3) Copy of the Pilot's examination rating and License/Certificate issued by MARINA to practice as Harbor Pilot in the Pilotage District of Siain-Hondagua and Casiguran; 4) Employer's Certification of Services rendered as shipmaster (names of vessels, tonnages, ports of call and lengthiperiod of service thereon, including frequency of calls on the pilotage waters of Siain-Hondagua and Casiguran Pilotage District); 5) Copies of Certificates of Training Courses attended, positions/qualfications and ‘commendations/awards in the maritime port services, 6) Current Physical and Mental Fitness Certificates from a government physician, and a current Board of Marine Inquiry (BM!)
