The SUBJECT of the activity: "Irregular plural of nouns"

Type of activity: mixed skills (sequence of a lesson);

Objective: Using language aquisitions in order to do a written task;
TIME: 30'

I. Brainstorming:
Students are encouraged to give examples of nouns with irregular plural - either
the singular or the plural form; The teacher lists them on the board;
The teacher asks Students to make groups of 3 and choose 5 nouns from the
board singular or plural . In each group Ss decide which nouns to choose then
write them on a sheet of paper;
The teacher displays the papers with the choices of each group in front of the
classroom;

II . Writing

The groups are asked to use all the 5 nouns and make up a short composition with
them without changing their words( not to change the singular into plural) with
max .50 words; The students are encouraged to use the nouns in funny
combinations of words or sentences;
In the end the everybody decides which is the funniest composition;
