My Best Friend, My Brother

Marcus is my only brother. He is fair and and a head taller than I. Marcus has spiky

blond hair and his eyes always seem to sparkle. He walks slowly and carefully yet he is quite a

clumsy boy. When he speaks he does so loudly and strongly, and often speaks in accents just

for the fun of it. He is often found practising violin and is extremely serious about his music. He

can play with great ease and finesse, and has been doing so for over eight years. Sometimes I

catch him pacing, or hear his steady footsteps overhead as I sit in the basement doing my work.

He claims that he thinks more clearly when he paces. My brother is fond of humming and

amuses us with snippets of different genres. I adore my brother.
