The first semester of a new school year is
Wish Week always crazy, and being in Chi Omega
Big/Little Reveal Week makes it even crazier and busier! So far this
semester we have gone through recruitment,
bid day, where we added 86 amazing new
girls to our chapter, Wish Week, where we
were able to fundraise over $30,000 for the
Make a Wish foundation, and right now we
are in the middle of big/little reveal week! We
are so excited for reveal on Friday,
November 3rd, and for everything else
planned for the rest of the semester!

CHI OMEGA: YEAR RECAP

Bid Day-The Best
Day of the Year
After long and tiring days of recruiting,
bid day has finally arrived! On Septem-
ber 5th, the Psi Epsilon chapter of
Chi Omega at Arizona State wel-
comed home 86 new women to our
chapter. Bid day is so exciting be-
cause you get to see the future of
what your chapter run home to you.
Bid Day took place in the Adelphi
Commons at 6pm, and at 7:30, eve-
ryone went to Golf-land Sun-splash
in Mesa, Arizona, and we all got to

Barn Dance
On September 30th, Chi Omega hosted our first date
party of the year: Barn Dance! The new and active
members of Chi Omega were able to take a date to
barn dance, which was paid for by Chi Omega mem-
bers dues. The venue for Barn Dance was at the
Showcase Room at the Madison, which is next to Culi-
nary Dropout in Tempe, Arizona. We all danced the
night away and had some yummy snacks from Culi-
nary Dropout. The event was from 6pm-10pm.

CHI OMEGA: YEAR RECAP

WISH WEEK!
The week of October 16th through October 21st was Chi Omegas
wish week, where we were able to raise over $30,000 for the Make a
Wish foundation. Chi Omega has partnered with Make a Wish since
2001, and nationally our sisters have volunteered over one million
hours with Make a Wish. For Chi Omegas Wish Week at Arizona
State University, we were able to fundraise by hosting percentage
nights at Buffalo Wild Wings and Chipotle where both restaurants do-
nated 50% of their proceeds on that day, we put on an event called
Cones for Kids, where we sold unlimited snow cones for three dollars,
and we hosted a basketball tournament called Swishes for Wishes,
where fraternity men paid to create a team so they were able to par-
ticipate in the tournament.

Big/Little Reveal Week!

The week of October 30th through November 3rd is big little reveal
week! Each day before 3pm, the big sisters put a present in the
chapter room, and after 3:30pm, the littles can come and get their
present. Each present has the littles name on it, and attached to the
present is three clues so they can guess who their big is. Each day
of presents has a theme. For Chi Omega, the themes are candy,
hand-me-downs, insignia, and owls. Today marked the first day of
big/little reveal week, and I am really hoping my little enjoyed her
basket full of her favorite candy!

On Friday, at big little reveal, the littles get a matching shirt that their
big has, and they have to run out to the lawn in Adelphi Commons to
find their big. I am so excited for reveal this Friday!

CHI OMEGA: YEAR RECAP

A Sneak Peek of Whats to
Come
For the rest of the semester, we have many more exciting events
coming up. On Friday, November 10th, we have our fall formal. All
members of Chi Omega are able to bring a date, and the formal
takes place at a surprise venue. On the weekend of November 18th
and 19th, all members of Chi Omega will be headed to a camp in
Prescott, Arizona where we will have our All-House Retreat. We get
to spend a weekend together in the wilderness, all sleep together in
cabins, and get to know each other better through bonding activities
and games. My favorite part of the All-House Retreat is the campfire
that we have together at night. It is nice to get away from the hot Ari-
zona sun for the first time in a while and head to the cool mountain
air with some sisters.
