Unit Summary:
Students in this unit will be getting a full depth analysis about the civil rights movements. Students will be able to understand certain
events, polices, and court cases that has transformed the civil rights as we know them today. Students will be doing assessments that are
entry level, formative, and Summative. The most important part of the chapter will be the building of the timeline with presentation
before the unit final. The reason why the building of the timeline is important is because the process will help with the students slowly
understand the key points of the civil rights movement. The timeline is a perfect way to use as prep work before the final unit test. All the
little assessments that lead to the overall goal of testing the students to make sure that each one of them understand.
