"Kapia" Pepper: Translated From Romanian
KAPIA PEPPER
Early variety, with a vegetation period of 121 days until full maturity for consumption.
The plants height is of approximately 50-52 cm with rich leafage.
The fruit is shaped like a horn or swords sheath and has a length of about 20-23 cm with
a base of 5,8-6,8 cm in diameter.
The production potential is 45-48t/ha and fruit ripening is split into several subperiods.
The fruit is round-shaped and weighs between 8-10 kg on average, with a light and dark
stripped rind and sweet red flesh.
Variety for open-field cultivation. The roots are white, big, long and pointed, crunchy
with a smooth texture. It is not susceptible to fermentation or lignification. Production
potential of 20-28 t/ha.
