THE ANDEAN WOODPECKER

 The Condor and The
Andean Woodpecker

The condor was flying, carrying

branches of trees in its beak to
finish its nest that located at
the top of a pine tree. Suddenly
there was a tremor and a rock
was divided and covering the
nest.
Desperate, the condor asked
for help. Only the Andean
woodpecker approached.
Wh What's up friend? - the bird
asked.

with many leaves, the stone
turned into sand and fell
through the branches of the
nest, leaving space for the
condor to nest
The tired and hungry
condor saw the bird on a
branch of the tree and
launched himself to eat it.

feathers. Furious the condor
returned to its nest but this

poisonous snake.
