ACTIVITY NAME: Calculating Employee Wages

PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

Instructions:
1. Begin with a discussion about how wages are calculated, including overtime.
a. Also discuss the importance of dependability, not only for relationship with
supervisors, but how it effects your pay check.
2. Distribute the handout on the following page.
3. Have students figure regular, overtime and total wages.
a. Discuss how hours work effected total wages.

1. Have students create table in Excel and input formulas to calculate wages.
