The Tortoise and the Hare

Turtles walk slowly. Another name for a turtle is a tortoise.

Rabbits move pretty fast. Another name for a rabbit is a
hare. A tortoise and a hare want to race. The turtle thinks
he will win the race because the turtle is so slow. During
the race, the hare things he is way ahead of the tortoise, so
the hare takes a nap. The turtle knows he is slow, but he
does not give up. He keeps a steady pace during the race.
In the end, the turtle wins the race. The lesson we can
learn is that slow and steady wins the race.
