Environment: EMC Symmetric, EMC VMAX, Recover Point with CISCO
SANTAP and Symmetric splitter and CISCO Fabri.

ROLES & RESPONCIBILITES

Day to day provisioning of storage (Storage device selection/creation, Zoning, LUN Masking) . Managed and
deployed LUNS from EMC storage frames to multiple servers using the SYMCLI, Navisphere Manager And.
Provided on Call Support & day-to-day troubleshooting SAN related issues.
Configuring zoing in CISCO & BROCADE switch.
Decommission the Servers which needs to be removed from the SAN, i.e. Un-masking the devices from the
Servers, un-mapping the devices, dissolve Meta devices into individual devices and remove the zones.
Allocation / De- allocation in symmetric DMX series.
Creating Meta Volumes according to the client specifications.
Also worked for DeAllocation Mechanism in Storage Array.
Create and manage Device groups for perform various operations like Establish, split and setup the BCV's
for the backup operations.
Working with service provider and vendors to resolve hardware issues.
Experience in creating Vsan in Cisco Switches.
Co-ordination with vendor for hardware calls logging.
Experience in Time finder/Clone/Mirror/Snap.
Experience in EMC Symmetric Remote Data Facility (SRDF)
