To whom it may concern,

My name is Keenan Fitts. I am currently nursing student at the USF College of Nursing. I will
graduate on December 9 2017 and I am seeking a Registered Nursing position in the Intensive
Care Unit.

Prior to pursuing a career in nursing, I gained much of my knowledge and health care skills from
working in the Navy as Hospital Corpsman. I have had the opportunity to experience health care
in various settings to include: emergency field medicine, shipboard medicine, primary care, and
critical care. These experiences have undoubtedly contributed to my growth and development as
a health care professional.

During my clinical rotation I attained 150 hours of experience in Tampa General's Neuroscience
Intensive Care Unit. I was exposed to various neurological complications and treatment
pathways. I also had the opportunity to collaborate with specialty & sub-specialty groups such as
neurosurgery, stroke teams, and critical care teams.

I possess a "Can Do" attitude and rely on the principles of honor, courage, and commitment. My
determination will help me to excel to the next level of my career in advance nursing practice. I
feel that these qualities will make me a valuable asset to Naval Medical Center Portsmouth Navy
Medicine Team.
