Turpentine Oil Black Spray Paint

Scissor Double-sided tape

PROCEDURE

1. Find Thailands latitude, which is 13.75 North.


2. Gather materials to make sundial
3. Measure and adjust the scale of sundial to fit the
printed paper size and print it out
4. Put the paper scale on the acrylic sheet by using
double-sided tape to stick it together.
5. Draw the curve line and scale on the acrylic sheet

6. Take off the scale paper that we used to


draw the scale out. Then use the cutter to cut
the sticker by following the line of the scale.

7. Print out number 1-11 A.M, P.M. and stick


them on the scale.

8. Cut the acrylic sheet into triangle shape to


make a gnomon.

9. Take the gnomon to stick on the scale


PROCEDURE

10. Use the black spray paint to spray on the scale

11. Dry the scale and then take off the sticker, you
will see the scale

12. Cut the acrylic sheet into a triangle shape to make


a gnomon.

13. Take the gnomon to stick to the scale

14. Use the sharpen for sharpening the blade

15.Put the sundial face to the sun by turn it to the


North and observe the shadow that occurred. (The
shadow will tell the time)

16. Compare the time we got from the sundial to the


clock to see whether the time is similar to the sundial
or not.
