Responsibilities
Implement real time analysis for streaming data: model design, features planning,
system infrastructure, production setup and monitoring, and release management.
Implement the models to capture the streams from various sources using the queuing
mechanism.
Implement the Stream Processing Engine (SPE) to process the streams without having
any data loss.
Implement the Complex Event Processing (CEP) in the SPE for the streams.
Implement the notification system as and where required to alert the users during the
stream processing stage.
Implement the rule engine in coordination with user interface team to design the rule
builder for the same.
Develop RESTfull calls to plug the rules into the rule engine.
Develop the RESTfull calls for stream processing and notification system.
Implement SAMOA (Scalable Massive Online Analysis) as part of the SPE to find the
real time events and co-occurrences.
Implement the big data lambda architecture to merge the batch results and real time
results to render the same in the dashboard for visualization and persistence.
Perform the testing for the developed scripts in distributed and non-distributed
environment and deploy the same in the cloud.

Qualifications
BTech/BE/PhD but will consider MCA in Computer Science or related field.
Familiarity with at least one Distributed Stream Processing Engines: Apache Storm,
Apache S4, Apache Samza.
Experience with at least one Complex Event Processing component like
Esper/Camel/River.
Experience with at least one distributed message broker: Apache Kafka, HiveMQ.

Prepare data sets as per the requirement defined by the machine learning team to

Implement the data marts for different business needs on the distributed file systems.
Develop the scripts as and where required to aggregate the data by developing the
User Defined Functions (UDF) using Hive/Pig/Scalding.
Create the analytics database as part of the data processing on the Distributed File

Implement the big data lambda architecture to merge the batch results and real time
results to render the same in the dashboard for visualization and persistence.
Evaluate various big data open source frameworks as and when required by
developing the Proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and Proof-of-values (PoVs).
