Intermediate Designer

Allied Works Architecture is a 45-person practice with offices in New York City and Portland, Oregon.
Current projects include cultural, academic, corporate, and residential work throughout North America and
internationally. Allied Works is seeking exceptional Junior Architects/Designers for employment in a
demanding and collaborative office environment in the New York office. Considered applicants must
have:

BArch or MArch degree from an accredited university

0-3 years of professional work experience
Exceptional concept design abilities documented with iterative models, diagrams, and
architectural drawings
Particular interest and experience in, industrial design, furniture and product design
Ability to execute exceptional presentation deliverables within very tight schedules
Familiarity working with various tools and medium including but not limited to: physical model
building, 2D and 3D drawing and modeling (VectorWorks, Rhino, etc), rendering (Photoshop,
Maxwell, etc), generating presentations (Adobe Creative Suite), etc. Candidates must be
authorized to work in the U.S. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
