6. You are Tony Burton, the Secretary of the Benevolent Club which is found in
your locality. Your club intends to organise a distribution of gifts to poor children
for Christmas. Write a letter to the President of the Village Councilthe Mayor
requesting assistance and support (the body of the letter should not exceed 200
words).
7. You have noticed that internet connectivity in your area is poor. Write a letter of
complaint to your Internet Service Provider, requesting that measures be taken to
remedy the situation as soon as possible (the body of the letter should not
exceed 200 words).

8. You are a social worker involved in combating drug abuse amongst teenagers.
You have to address an audience of upper secondary school students on the
issue.
Explain how you will prepare your speech, laying particular emphasis on:
- the arguments you will put forward
- the mode of speech delivery you will adopt,
- the form(s) of persuasion you will choose, and
- the presentation aid(s) you will use.
9. (a) Give an overview of the different nonverbal codes. (10 marks)
(b) Discuss the importance and the limitations of nonverbal communication in the
