Play-Dough Cerebral Cortex Activity (Healthy Brain Sheet)

You will be assigned a structure of the cerebral cortex to make a model of for
class today. Once your group is finished, connect the pieces and present your
cerebral cortex to the class. Include the functions of the part. Below are pictures
of some of the structures and examples of play-dough models. For other parts,
refer to your text for diagrams. At the end of class, you will place your parts
together and create a class diagram of the cerebral cortex structures. Below is a
list of the structures that you can choose from:
- Corpus Callosum
- Longitudinal Fissure
- Frontal Lobes
- Parietal Lobes
- Occipital Lobes
- Temporal Lobes
- Motor Cortex
- Somatosensory Cortex
