O passado de are é were e o passado de is é was.
O passado de am é was também.

Use a forma Was para I, he, she, it e Were para as demais
pessoas.

Negative form
Usam-se as formas negativas wasn’t (was not) para I, He, She, It e weren’t(
were not) para as demais pessoas.

I wasn’t ( eu não era , eu não estava) I wasn’t

You weren’t (voce não era, voce não estava) you weren’t at English class.

He wasn’t (ele não era, ele não estava) He wans’t a bad student.
She wasn’t ( ela não era, ela não estava) She wasn’t at school .
It wasn’t (ele/ela não era, não estava) It wasn’t a good school.

We weren’t (nós não éramos, nós não estávamos) We weren’t happy

Interrogative form (Lembre-se que na forma interrogativa o verbo vem no início

da frase).

was he…? (ele era?, ele estava?) Was he playing cards in the classroom?

Os alunos vão responder afirmativamente ou

negativamente, usando as formas do verbo no passado

eu sei que nem sempre estão disponíveis os recursos de vídeo e áudio da escola, e que as
vezes tb não temos tempo de providenciar uma aula com esses recursos, mesmo as cópias,
