ASSIGNMENT QUESTION

The staff of the bookstore at Mount View Community College work hard to satisfy students,
instructors, and the school’s business office. Instructors specify textbooks for particular courses,
and the bookstore orders the books and then sells them to students. The bookstore wants you to
develop an object-oriented model for a new bookstore information management system.

(i) List FIVE (5) possible entities that might be necessary for this system, including
their attributes and methods.
(10 marks)

(ii) Executive summary of the project (explain the overall functions of the system,
benefits of the system, target clients, etc.)

(30 marks)

(iii) System overall specification (analysis, design diagrams (ERD, DFD Level 0,
Level 1), text may include graphics)
