TrackTown USA Loses Bid for 2020 U.S. Olympic Team

Mt. San Antonio College Will Host the U.S. Olympic Team Trials in

2020

EUGENE, Ore. Jul 07, 2017- USA Track & Field announced that the U.S. Olympic
Team Trials for Track & Field will be held at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut,
California. The last three Olympic cycles trials were held in Eugene 2008, 2012
and 2016 and TrackTown USA hosted and helped with all three trials. This is the
first time in past 12 years that TrackTown USA will be not hosting and helping the
Olympic Team Trials.

Hilmer Lodge Stadium at Mt. San Antonio College is getting a $62 million upgrade
that will enable the venue to expand to a seating capacity of more than 21000. This
project will be completed by 2019.

and businesses throughout Oregon that helped us to build the Olympic Team Trials
into an amazing festival for track and field in 2008, 2012 and 2016, said Michael

Track Town organization will continue to support and help anybody in the sport of
track and field that is trying to do the same things we are, which is show the world
why its the greatest sport in the world.
