Lesson idea implementation: The teacher will introduce the lesson by having the PowerPoint on the
board. The students will be seated on the reading circle carpet. The teacher will introduce the story and then
they will have the students read one slide each. This will be a lesson that last about a week. The students will
be assessed by having them read the book out loud and then asking questions after the reading.
The eBook will be published on the teachers website and will allow parents to read about what we are
learning about. Those ELL parents may not speak English, but the student may be able to read the book to
their parents. The teacher will allow each of the students create their own book using PowerPoint based on
the lesson. The students will create their own book on the seasons. The teacher will then conclude the lesson
by playing the students eBook.
