I would suggest Hotel Paris to apply these four methods for their recruitment process. Employee
Referrals: This option is best for any company because these people are well aware of their
organization culture and its demand, so on that base they request or contact the concerning
candidate to apply for that vacancy of the organization on which he suits. College Recruiting:
This is a great way to capture a pool of talent with latest skills and invest it in your hotel to meet
those high-commitment targets by visiting and selecting best talent among various universities or
colleges. Internal Recruiting: This is one of the best and beneficial place of recruitment. As
these people are well aware of the hotels rules and polices so they will be adjust with the new job
more easily and fast than the new entrants which also in result save the training time, improve the
hotels productivity and most likely his pay demand will not be too much. Internet recruiting:
This is also a good mean to recruit a wide range candidates having versatile work experiences by
creating an image of the hotel online. Large amount of willing candidates will then surely apply
for each vacancies available on their Hotel site as well as through online ads.

Hotel Paris previous help wanted ad in their local papers consist no sense about what kind of
candidates they actually wants to hire for their hotel, thats why they have unmanaged system of
recruitment. Hotel Paris need to use formal selective process which consist their actual
requirements regarding the candidates. The manager should move ahead by using online recruiting
and other efficient alternative sources for recruitment besides local papers.

5-35:
There are many internal recruitment and outside recruitment cost exist in every companys phase
of recruitment. So, its better for Hotel Paris to firstly approach which source of recruitment is
useful in helping them more in generating high-commitment, motivated and service oriented
employees for their hotel. After that, they should have a control on both of their recruitment cost.
For these purposes, they should use recruitment effectiveness metrics including, how many
candidates did we generate each of our recruitment sources? New hire turnover by recruiting
source , new hire failure rate ,selection test results by recruiting source, percentage of job filled
from within, satisfaction as well as tracking the recruitment sources by measuring the performance
of employees after one year on their job.
