To whom it may concern:

I am pleased to recommend Andy De Paz for any future academic or employment endeavor. I have had the
pleasure of being Mr. De Pazs US History teacher and have witnessed his academic and social
accomplishments.

In class, Mr. De Paz is thoughtful, enjoys being challenged and takes criticism well using such discussions
to improve his work. He used to be very shy and reserved and I have watched him become more confident
and participate more in discussions.

Mr. De Paz prioritizes a full schedule. In addition to his academic accomplishments, he volunteers
extensively at Foshay LC and the Los Angeles Food Bank, Loren Miller Recreational Center, Youth Group
Iglesia Cristiana Familia De Dios, and Cracking the Code Google.

Mr. De Paz is serious about his studies and career path, but also has a warm sense of humor and is easily
social. He is the type of student every teacher enjoys having in class because he works well in any group,
allowing others to find a place to join in the discussion, yet can also focus well independently and has a
natural initiative to move beyond classroom boundaries.

I know he will take every opportunity in life to personally participate and engage others in progressive,
meaningful activities. Therefore, he would be a wonderful asset to any institution or community.
