Matic, an individual can record a PowerPoint or a GoogleSlide presentation and speak while going through it. Screencast-O-Matic
records the screen while also recording the voice. After the presentation is over, the individual can just push the record button to
stop recording and the recording saves as a link.

INTEGRATION/IMPLEMENTATION IDEA - SCREENCASTING

How might you use this resource to promote student learning? Describe who will be doing the screencasting you or your
students, and what purpose it will serve.
Screencast-O-Matic is a helpful tool for teachers because it allows them to post lectures for students that may have missed class
or students that may need to re-watch the lecture to better retain the information. Teachers can also implement Screencast-O-
Matic as a presentation assignment instead of having students present in person. Its a tool that would help the teachers and the
classroom.

Students can also use it for a presentation assignment instead of presenting in class, which may make students a lot less nervous
