JOB PURPOSE
What is the main purpose or objective of the job; and what will it contribute to the
overall business of the company.

This role will lead the core Planning and Operational Procurement activities across
MHEPL sites. The scope covers all MHEPL Corporate Hospitals across the country,
and will seek to manage the end to end Planning & Materials Management function that
meets business requirements, as well as is scalable for growth.

The position-holder will manage all teams involved in the above-mentioned sub-
functions, and will champion creation of sustainable processes across the domain.
He/She will also own and deploy the Order Realization Process (ORP), that ensures
accurate planning and timely supplies with optimum inventories of drugs, medical
consumables and general consumables. The role also will be responsible to manage the
MDM team that ensures data management across the entire spectrum of purchases.

CRITICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
List the critical accountabilities that must be achieved in order that the job purpose is
fulfilled.
1. Ensuring robust end-to-end Supply Chain processes and systems across MDM,
Planning, Operational Procurement, Goods Inwarding and Inventory
Management are established.
2. Leading and developing a pan-India team (directly & functionally) across Units
to ensure business deliverables on material availability are optimally addressed.
3. Institutionalising monitoring mechanisms towards a metrics-driven culture, that
helps execute Planning and ORP deliverables to the business goals.
4. Lead the Formulary compliance efforts across the sites.
5. Resource management and Team Leadership.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCIES


What are the minimum entry level requirements for the job, in terms of

Qualification and Experience :


Engineering or Pharma degree (necessary), post-graduation in Supply Chain
(preferred). Minimum 13-15 years of relevant industry experience in Supply
Chain/Logistics in Hospitals, Healthcare, Automotive or Heavy Engineering industries.

Other attributes :
High on integrity
Hands-on experience in core elements of Supply Chain.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proactive approach to timely problem solving is a must.
Good team leading skills, with an ability to work within a highly collaborative
team environment.
Should be competent enough to handle multiple projects coordination
