From: Christine Erdtsieck (Team WeFixit)
Date: 16 October 2017
Subject: Progress Report #2
Purpose:
In this report, I will be bringing you up to date on our device, the Samsung POWERbot R7070,
how well team WeFixit has been collaborating, and what we have achieved thus far October 16th
2017.
Summary:
Prior to this progress report, we created a team charter, submitted a proposal to iFixit, and started
working on our Troubleshooting page. We are currently remaining on task with what we have
written on our charter while experiencing minor issues. Despite following our timeline, there are
still a few tasks that need to be complete.
Difficulties:
When problems arose, we referenced our charter and worked together to provide a solution. All
of the issues we have encountered (followed by a solution) include(s):
Conflicting schedules for meeting outside of class found two days that everyone
had breaks in his or her schedules to meet and create guide pages.
Found that Christine could not meet at the previous decided location everyone
agreed it would be better to meet on campus at the library instead.
Trouble adding links to our device page Eric e-mailed iFixit about the problem and
received a response stating they had fixed it.
Task Overview:
So far we have completed four tasks from our proposal. Overall, the tasks we have completed
are:
Have one member upload iFixits response to our Device page (iFixit has sent a
response).
Apply the feedback from iFixit regarding our Device page.
Creating one guide page and submitting it to iFixit by Oct. 25.
Meeting on the 17th of October to continue creating guide pages for our device.
Conclusion:
My team members and I feel as though we are communicating proficiently, are making headway
with our assignments, and are judiciously addressing conflicts. We hope to continue to put forth
a united effort throughout the entirety of this project until its completion.
Sincerely,
Christine Erdtsieck, Team WeFixit
