Introduction (warmer activity + teacher active engagement)

At the beginning, the teacher will sing a warming up song like A ram sam sam with the
students on the carpet with performing the actions.

The teacher will access prior knowledge by revising the numbers that they had before by
showing the students cards and asking them what is the number on the card.
The teacher will tell the students that they are going to learn three new numbers.

The teacher will show the students the numbers and ask them; who knows what number is
this?

The teacher will show the students how much each number represent using the craft sticks.
She will put one craft stick in a time and she will count and then she will write the number. She
will do it for the three numbers and then let the students compare which number has more?
And which one has less.
The teacher will divide the students according to their color groups and she will give each
group leader two cups that has craft sticks.
The teacher will tell the students that she is going to say a number and they need to put the
craft sticks inside the cup.
The teacher shows the students an example of how they should do it and then she says a
number and lets the students work.
When one group is finished they bring their cup to her and the whole class counts with the
teacher to check if they put the right number of craft sticks or not.
After this activity the teacher asks the students some questions like:
I had 3 whiteboard markers and she shows them the markers and put them infront of her. And
then she says Mahra for example gave me 4 markers how many markers do I have now? The

Children will have numbered cup cake papers and students need to move the marbles from
the cup using the spoon and put them in the cupcake paper. They need to move one marble at
a time and they need to put the number that is written.

For example if it is written 5 they need to put five marbles.

Independent Experience (small group activity 2)

Students will create bracelets with beads that contain 7 beads and then girls wear their
bracelets.

Independent Experience (small group activity 3)

Students will try to form the numbers 6,7,8 using the legos.

The teacher will ask the students about the numbers they took and will ask them which one is
