Who are Canny?

The Original
Milk Lovers
Were Liam & Simon a.k.a.
Canny. Proper Geordie and
proud of it, our milkshakes
were born and bred in
Newcastle.

It all began on a farm in

Northumberland and in 2015, we
made our first cartons. Liam had a
bit of an unusual obsession with milk
and Simon didnt judge him. Match Liam and Simon a.k.a. Canny.

knowledge to create a product were

How did it all
come about...
Dont worry, we wont bore
you with all the gory details.
Weve picked out a few
milestones for you, the bits our
mams our most proud of!

1 Age-old adage of the herbalist
& the drinks industry veteran
meeting over a pint and the
rest, as they say, is history.
2 By March 2016, Canny was all
aboard Virgin Trains & had sold
10,000 cartons by August.
3 In February 2017, we began the
journey to create a Chocolate
Milk with absolutely no added
sugar.
4 In June 2017, we started
a Crowdcube campaign &
overfunded to 180%. Not bad,
eh?! We were also asked to be
part of an ITV programme with
Karren Brady.
5 Oh, weve also been voted one
of the top businesses to watch
for 2017. So, watch this space...

Seriously, we wouldnt lie to
you. But dont be put off, it
tastes proper lush. Weve
made sure of that.

Were proud to say that every

ingredient that goes into our

always canny, never nasty. Weve
re-branded to clean up the
ingredients, but added our Geordie
banter to the carton. Because we want
