This research proposal concept paper explores the feasibility of using chili peppers as a pesticide by comparing its quality, odor, and effectiveness against commercial pesticides. Common insects and cockroaches found in rice fields and homes will be used as test subjects. The study aims to determine if chili peppers can serve as a natural alternative to commercial pesticides, though it will be limited to specific types of pests and must account for the expiration period of the chili-based solution.

The Feasibility of Chili pepper ( Capsicum Frutescens) as Pesticide
Background of the Study
Statement of the Problem
This study lies to find out the feasibility of chili pepper as pesticide.(insect killer). 1.Is there a difference on the effect of chili pepper and the commercial pesticides in terms of: a. QUALITY b. ODOR c. EFFECTIVITY/EFFECT
Research Design, Method and Procedures
Common insects are living outside or in rice fields. Cockroaches ar generally found first or either the attic or basements. Insects carries a lot of bacteria that can give us diseases. It also distribute germs to entire plant and crops. The Chili pepper is an independent variable while the pesticide is the dependent variable. Scope and Limitations The study was limited on what kind of pests will be used. It is also limited the expiration date of the chili pepper pesticide because it take days or weeks to produce a bad smell.
