Rhetoric- “Skill in using language effectively and persuasively”

 Do not misunderstand:

I am very intrigued by great speeches and those who present them. Some of our greatest
events in history have come about by the words of a person who believed in something.

Education is a very important part of a human life in this world. Through the art of
discourse and study we have achieved tremendous growth in all areas of society.

Do not be offended about the use of the noun, man. Both men and women are included
in my writings, I just choose to use man (like the Bible) as representative of the human
race and do not do it because of gender preference.

What will not be done is to give into the crowd who thinks to change even the Bible into
a more gender friendly book. Find Christ first, and then see if it really is such a big deal!

Matthew 7:21-23 KJV Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the
kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. (22) Many will
say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have
cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? (23) And then will I profess
unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

To whom do you tell of the great loneliness found in Christ? Can the place of being with Christ
replace the understanding of a man who cannot see past the wisdom of man? We think to mix
Christ with the elements of our own reasoning and educated contemplations.

To whom will God reveal the truth? How often is the understanding of truth brought by the
hands of great orators or learned men of words and letters? Why then does the simple
confound the wise? How can a poor man or woman untrained in the knowledge and wisdom of
the human world, grasp the truth of God and another world?

Christ is not changing His ways or His purpose. Would that all could come to the knowledge of
the truth, but there are many who only look at the truth yet never know the truth. Even when
today’s Leader is more trained and more rehearsed with methods, and lessons, and systems,
and practices, and research, and abilities, the truth has evaded them.

Leaders who will one day stand before God and find out their name is not written in the Book of
Life. Thus will it be of no avail to protest and argue of their great accomplishments and left
behind monuments of success.

But oh how they were revered by their fellow man and religious organizations only to find there
is no recording of their deeds of good works. Because when truth was evident, they chose the
words of wise and religious men over the unlearned and ignorant men of Jesus Christ.

Acts 4:13 KJV Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they
were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled; and they took knowledge of them, that they
had been with Jesus.

Rhetoric has no place with the Father as He could have dealt with man' salvation in a higher
plain of thought where none could have grasp the words and deeds of such a superior God. Yet
He chose to come among us in the simple life of a common Jew and redeemed us not by words
but by the action of sacrificing His only Son for our atonement.

Thus, into the world came the truth not by wisdom of man, not by actions of men, not by
educated leaders and instructors, not by words of philosophy, not by reasoning and
understanding, and not by theory.

Search the scriptures now and be sure your name is in the book of life and never follow after
the words of man unless that man knows Jesus the common Jew, then will the truth become as
a lamp unto your feet and then God's word will be distinguishable from man's word, amen.

Psalms 119:105 KJV NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
