Hello Mrs. Collins,

I wanted to touch base on how Baxter is doing with our Rocks unit. We have been working on
describing and sorting rocks. Baxter has really taken to this unit, he enjoys the hands-on work we are
doing with rocks. Today our CSU students ran the centers and created activities for the class based on
the rock unit. He did a great job with sorting and comparing all types of rocks. His listening skills have
been improving since we started his check in sheet. All day today he was able to do what he was told
the first time. He is still struggling with blurting out and asking questions before he is called on. Also,
he loved the rocks so much he had some trouble sharing them with the group. This did give us the
opportunity to talk about what rocks were our favorites.

Sincerely,

Ms. Beliveau
