This document calculates the pull-out capacity of holding down bolts for a project. It determines that the maximum tension force per bolt of 100 kN is less than the bolt tension capacity of 110.3 kN. It also determines that the pull-out resistance of concrete, calculated to be 218 kN per bolt, exceeds the maximum tension force per bolt. The bolts require adequate anchorage by suitably sized washer plates under the bolt heads.
