DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT Evaluators Input:
Introduction: Commuting and driving, it is a way of life of people regardless of races, nationality, and
geographical location. Behind the settings of traffic madness and noisy streets, Filipino commuters and drivers
put themselves in scene that uses a lot of time and money. Road signs are plan to help the improvement of
safety in our streets and highways, such as; improve the flow of traffic and reduce accidents, but the reality is
that road signs are lesser perfect because of the abuse of neighborhood streets as selection to designated
commuters and drivers way. Road signs were criticize for enlarged accident rates. Sadly, some serious
accidents happen because of the problem of road signs. If someone needs direction, poor signage can cause
panic, even when properly posted may be confusing or not match to what workers are doing at the moment.
The missing, hidden or incorrect road signs caused it or made it worse. Seriously injured or killed because a
commuters and drivers have ignored posted road signs, and it can easily be the reason an accident happens.
This documentary is interesting because it doesnt only tackle the physical attribute but also
things that happen within it structure. And we will emphasize the different road signs that belong to the
municipalities of Tarlac, their structure and service system. It will include brief interviews with random
citizens and public service workers.

RATIONALE Evaluators Input:

The purpose of this study is not only to give awareness in public about the signage, but also to inspire all the
commuters and drivers by serve as the public source of information about the real purpose of road signs and
also we will help them know the improvements needed with regards to their attitude the way of driving
including commuters and persons responsible in road signs.

To promote awareness to the public on how to help the improvement of safety in our streets and
highways. This is intended Io the public especially commuters, motorists, and pedestrians.

Specific Objectives:
This study aims to:
1. To discuss the study about road signs in different criteria which are location, colors and size?
2. To identify the importance of having a well-designed and strategically located road signs.
3. To promote the development of road signs in terms of physical appearance.
4. Avoid instance of having poorly located, unmaintained and incorrect or inappropriate sign.
