Preparation
1. When operating the diamond selector II, use a battery of type 006P 9V. the lid of the
battery compartment 6 can be easily slid off is you push it in the direction of the arrow.
Hook the battery in accordance with the + & - Mack on the battery.
Insert the battery into the battery compartment, setting the hooked part on the side of
the compartment.
2. Turn on the power switch 3
3. Make sure that the battery lamp 4 lights up
Note : in case that the battery lamp does not light up or it becomes dim, new battery is
required : replace the battery with a new one
4. Wait for about 30 seconds till the ready lamp 5 light up.
Note : the ready lamp auto matically lights up as soon as the probe 1 is warmed up to
the fixed temperature
5. The power switch/level mater volume 3 function as calibrate to adjust the level mater 2
turning it toward the direction of ON. The level mater lamps light up from green to red
in order.
Adjustment of level mater 2
With the level meter volume 3, adjust the level mater 2 in accordance with the size of the
tested stone and the surrounding temperature.

To calibrate, refer to the following calibration chart and make accurate adjustment of the level
meter so as to obtain correct indication.

Calibration chart
(heat. Conductivity is affected by surrounding temperature and stone size

1. Under 0,05 ct., set the level meter lamp to light on up to 6.

2. From 0.06ct. to 0,05ct,. set the level meter lamp to light on up to 4.
3. Over 0.6 ct., set the level meter lamp to light on up to 2.
For example. When testing the stone of about 0.3 carat in colder temperature, set the
level meter lamp to light on 3 and warmer temperatures set it to light on 5.

Operation
1. Gently contact the probe tip 1 to the stone
Too strong touch may bend or bresk the probe tip.
As the mark of the illustration. Contact the probe tip perpendicularly to the stone

diamonds 1. Beeping sounds (beep-beep)
2. 1-4 pieces of the red lamp box of the level meter 2 light on.
(the bigger the sixe of the stone is, the more pieces of the red lamp box of
 the level mater light up)
Diamond 1. No beeping sound.
simulation 2. No red lamps light on
Metal alert 1. Continues buzzing sounds.
(the thermal conductivity of the metal is very hight and can give the
same indication as a diamond with most thermal probes. The diamond
selector II has a metal alert buzzer to warn you when the probe tip
touch metal)
If you heart the metal alert buzzing sounds. Re-touch the probe tip so as
to touch only the tested stone.

Observation
1. Before starting the test, was the cleanly.
Oil and dirt dull the sensitivity of the diamond selector II.
2. All the test must be done by your bare hands.
If your hands have very dry skin or you put on your gloves. The metal alert will not
function since a normal moisture level of your hands is necessary for operation.
3. Hold the diamond selector ii so that your fingers touch the electricity conductive panel
7 on the back of the unit.
4. In case of stones set in metal (rings, pendants, bracelets, watches, etc) hold the metal
part with your bare hand.
5. In case of loos stones, place the tested ston on the testing platform with 9 theen hold
the diamond selector II in one hands and the plat from with your other hands.
6. When testing a lot of stone continuously, sometimes be sure to check if a certain
number of the level meter lamp 4 surely light on.
7. If you hold the right with your bare hands for a LONG time in order to test a lot of
mailed stones (very small size stones) set in it the diamond selector II. So sometimes be
sure to level the ring apart until it gets is normal temperature.
8. Avoid use in front of cooling/heating source of fan, or direct strong wind ad they may
affect indication.
9. In case of testing the stone which has been kept in the extreme low or high
temperature. Start the test after it gets normal temperature.
MAINTENANCE
1. After use, always turn off the power switch (3), keep it in the attached vinyl case and
avoid dust and humidity.
2. Since the diamons selector II is constructed by the precies electric circuits, never
attempt to open anything except the lid of the battery compartment
3. In case of not using the diamond selector II for a long time, take aout the battery from
the unit since the battery may be something corroded.

Persiapan

1. Ketika beroperasi pemilih berlian II, menggunakan baterai tipe 006P 9V. tutup
kompartemen baterai 6 dapat dengan mudah meluncur off Anda mendorongnya ke
arah panah. Menghubungkan baterai sesuai dengan + & - Mack pada baterai.
Masukkan baterai ke dalam kompartemen baterai, pengaturan bagian doyan di sisi
kompartemen.
2. Nyalakan saklar daya 3
3. Pastikan bahwa lampu baterai 4 menyala
Catatan: dalam hal bahwa lampu baterai tidak menyala atau menjadi redup, baterai
baru diperlukan: mengganti baterai dengan yang baru
4. Tunggu sekitar 30 detik sampai siap lampu 5 menyala.
Catatan: siap lampu otomatis menyala matically secepat probe 1 dipanaskan hingga
suhu tetap
5. saklar daya / tingkat volume mater 3 berfungsi sebagai kalibrasi untuk menyesuaikan
tingkat mater 2 mengubahnya ke arah ON. Lampu tingkat mater menyala dari hijau
ke merah dalam rangka.

Penyesuaian tingkat mater 2

Dengan volume tingkat meter 3, menyesuaikan tingkat mater 2 sesuai dengan ukuran
batu diuji dan suhu sekitarnya.

Untuk mengkalibrasi, lihat grafik kalibrasi berikut dan membuat penyesuaian yang
akurat dari meteran tingkat sehingga memperoleh indikasi yang benar.

berdengung suara.(Konduktivitas termal logam sangat hight dan
dapat memberikan indikasi yang sama seperti berlian dengan
kebanyakan probe termal. Berlian pemilih II memiliki logam bel
peringatan untuk memperingatkan Anda ketika logam ujung probe
sentuh) Jika Anda hati logam peringatan berdengung suara. Re-
menyentuh ujung probe sehingga hanya menyentuh batu diuji.

Observasi
1. Sebelum memulai tes, adalah bersih. Minyak dan kotoran menumpulkan sensitivitas

memeriksa apakah sejumlah meteran tingkat lampu 4 pasti menyala.

9. Dalam hal pengujian batu yang telah disimpan dalam suhu ekstrim rendah atau
tinggi. Mulai tes setelah mendapat suhu normal.

MAINTENANCE
1. Setelah digunakan, selalu matikan saklar daya (3), tetap dalam kasus vinil terlampir
dan menghindari debu dan kelembaban.
2. Karena Diamons pemilih II dibangun oleh rangkaian listrik precies, tidak pernah
mencoba untuk membuka apa-apa kecuali tutup baterai
3. Dalam hal tidak menggunakan pemilih berlian II untuk waktu yang lama, mengambil
aot baterai dari unit karena baterai dapat sesuatu terkorosi.
