Objective I will graduate in 2019 with a B.A. in Media and Communications: Journalism with a double minor in
International Affairs and History. I hope to pursue a career as a freelance journalist.

Work Experience Extended School Program Associate: Greeneville City Schools Summer 2017-present
Facilitating an enriching and enjoyable for children ages five to 11. Duties include but not limited to
leading group games, teaching arts and crafts and chaperoning field trips.

Secretary: Office of Media and Communications at ETSU Fall 2015-Spring 2017


Duties include answering phones, making deliveries, cleaning the computer labs and engaging
students and staff to a warm, welcoming environment.

Dance Teacher: Main Street Dance Company Fall 2011-present


I began my career as a dance teacher by assisting my own coach while still in high school. Now I
am in my third year teaching classes independently. Duties include planning lessons that instruct
students on technique and choreography in the genres of ballet, tap, jazz and hip-hop. I have
experience teaching ages two to 18.

Received 4.0 GPA every semester since beginning college career.

Member: National Society of Leadership and Success Spring 2016-present


Induction required meeting with other members to discuss career goals, as well as attending three
guest speaker broadcasts on topics related to individual success.

President: ETSU Student United Way Fall 2015-present
Served as Publicity Chair in 2015 and Vice President in 2016. ETSU SUW engages in the Washington
County community by getting college students involved in monthly service projects.

Team Member: the Well Fall 2016-present


The Well is a nondenominational campus ministry at ETSU thats purpose is to share the good news
of Jesus Christ with college students. This year I am on the Go Team, which works in local and
global missions.

Volunteer: Greeneville Middle School Dance Team 2011-present


Girl Scouts: Gold Award Recipient 2015
I received my Gold Award by starting a clothes closet in my alma mater for students in need.
Skills In high school I was the Chief Editor of the Auctioneer, Greeneville High Schools yearbook
program, for three years. In 2015 our book won a Silver Crown from the Colombia Scholastic Press
Association, the most prestigious competition in the nation. Through this experience I not only
gained an understanding for leading others, but I also learned valuable skills like writing, editing
and extensive knowledge on Adobe InDesign.

In college, I have increased my ability to work in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere and Adobe
Spark. I have completed projects in multiple mediums including but not limited to video, podcast,
Wordpress blog and writing for both print and broadcast. I have also served as the proofreader for
El Nuevo Tennessean for the past two years.
