What you need to to prior to

Tryouts:
1. Attend class & pass a
minimum of 5 classes
2. You must register online at:
https://evanston.8to18.com [Note: Do not create a new account if you already have one; Log-in to
your existing account.] Questions with Registration. Call 847-424-7370 if you need assistance
3. You must have guardian permissions, physical submitted Nurses office, 8to18 registration, Impact
tested - The deadline for completion is by 2/12/18.
4. You must be up-to-date with your IMPACT Testing. All Freshmen & Juniors are required to take the
IMPACT, or if you are new to ETHS. http://www.eths.k12.il.us/domain/291 - This must be
completed prior to tryouts on 2/26/2018.
5. Hand deliver Athletic Permit Card to the Athletic Office. Note: Multiple sport athletes do NOT
need to hand deliver to the Athletic Office if they have already submitted it to the previous sport.

Open Gyms/Winter Workouts

Before tryouts, there are ample opportunities to meet other players, get repetition, learn, get stronger,

Winter Speed & Agility - Mondays - 2:30-3:15p - Location: Fieldhouse (Begins: 12/11/17)
Winter Workouts - Wednesday & Thursday Mornings - Location: Weight Room (Begins:
12/6/17)
Open Gyms for Pitchers & Catchers - Wednesdays from 6-7p - Location: G160 (Begins: 12/6/17)
Open Gyms (All Skills) - Thursdays - 6-8pm - Location: Fieldhouse (Begins: 12/7/17)
You do not need to be registered in order to participate in any off season open gyms/winter
workouts. You must be registered in order to tryout for the 2017 Season.
