Dubai based Emirates Airlines was founded in 1985 with just two leased aircrafts, both from
Pakistan International Airlines which returned in 1987. The airlines first flight, flight EK600, was Dubai-
Karachi on 25th October 1985.

Now it is one of the fastest growing and most consistently profitable carriers in aviation
history. The company Operates four of the worlds ten longest non-stop commercial flights from Dubai
to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, and Houston.
