Summary of Procedures

1. The usher introduces the child to the examiner. The examiner asks

how old the child is.

2. The examiner asks the child to describe several differences between

the two pictures shown on the Find the Difference card, e.g. This is a
frog but this is a crocodile.

3. The examiner begins to tell the story prompted by the Story card, e.g.
Its a sunny day. Dads sleeping in the garden. Tom wants to play
basketball. The examiner then asks the child to continue with the
story.

4. The examiner asks the child to choose one picture in each set of four
on the Find the Different Ones card, and explain why it is the odd
one out in the set, e.g. These are all animals, but this is a boy.

5. The examiner asks questions about the child, e.g. Whos the youngest
in your family?
