Calculus Reflective Writing

-Is Calculus Important for real life? You bet!!!-

I am schooling to become a computer scientist with at least a bachelors in computer science and
engineering. My plan is to complete college and work with my father in the world of IT. This industry is
as broad as I can make it, according to my father. I have done a lot of coding in school and have learned
how to create different formulas and apply these things to real world applications. My hope is that
there will be a department that Im over that will allow me to manage and be a part of different
application creations and supervise the next level of progress in our field.

Does calculus apply to real life? Absolutely! If my future programs have the capability to launch
rockets or do any sort of applied physics, there will definitely be some calculus in there. As I learn more
about physics and the application of real life science I see how beneficial Calculus and the practice of
these things really are. I now understand the baseline application of the derivative. The derivative alone
can be used with so many different programs to study and calculate the magic of these things. The
integral, or the more-in-depth derivative, is the same. The more knowledge Ive gained, the more I see
and even have practiced real life application through the homework. Even the Limit is used in thousands
of statistics that fly through our heads without even understanding how these numbers were brought
about.

Calculus is as real as it gets.
