    Reading- Your children are working on identifying theme in books, poems, and songs.

    Writing- Students are working through themes in books, poems, and songs and writing responses to
    those themes.

    Math- Students finished the fractions chapter and will be working on Chapter 5, Algebra, until and
    after the break.

    Social Studies- Students have a Research Paper due Thursday, December 14. They have been given a
    template to help them research and we have taken class time as well to help.

    Science- We will be working in Science after the Winter Break. Our study will be about energy in
    animals food and the movement of matter among organisms.
