Question responses should be a maximum of 250 words in length.

Venture Questions
1. What’s your Venture idea?
The name of my proposed invention is “Friend”. As the name suggests, it – being eyeglasses - will help
people everywhere all the time. These will provide users with many add-ons over and above traditional
eyewear. From working in form of sunglasses, it would be a computer system in glasses supported by
the GPS system. Helping out the wearer by telling him the name of the road, shops and places of his
interest from where he is passing by, these glasses would surely do wonders for the user.

There would be a Bluetooth music player in it that would be connected to a mobile phone, also working
as a camera. When exposed to darkness, these glasses would change their color to white. A charging
port connected to any common electricity outlet would charge it for continuing use.
This invention would make our lives much simpler and would also not be heavy on the pocket.
2. What are the main activities of this Venture?
The main activities of the venture involve the building and / or assembling of following:

• Multi-purpose sun-glasses with lenses.

• Glass Frame.
• Micro Ear Plugs.
• Extensive database for GPS.
• Memory system.
• Blue-tooth with transmission antenna.
• Recharging Port.

3. What inspired your idea? Why do you want to create this Venture?
The idea is partly inspired from the glasses shown frequently on media. My intention behind
the venture of FRIEND is to encapsulate key features of various modern day inventions such as
Bluetooth music player, camera and GPS system into a single gadget. I also wish to minimize
the difficulty of young travelers who lose their way owing to the unavailability of the proper
GPS System.

4. How will your venture help your community?

My venture FRIEND consists of many features such as camera, GPS system and blue-tooth music player
helping the community in many ways. Firstly, it would obviate the need of purchasing many gadgets. It
would help the individual in finding his way by informing him of all places. It would entertain him by the
storage of audio songs and last but not the least it would enable him to capture beautiful sights at any
place any time.

How will you measurable success? How will you or anyone know if your Venture is achieving
5.
its goals?
Presently, I am in the designing phase of my project. I cannot precisely define the success at this
juncture. However, I shall be able to measure and report the precise development of my project through
appreciation and market success accorded to it in the due time as it evolves.

6. What will your Venture look like in the future? Where could it be three years from now?
FRIEND would keep on incorporating new features and inventions. In future, it would be equipped with
the night vision facility. It would allow us to see in the dark. Moreover, its camera would work effectively
with the help of inbuilt flash system. To expand the availability of songs, it would be able to get it self
connected to numerous radio stations. It would have its own operating system to enhance the working
capacity.

List and describe FOUR main goals you want to achieve in the next 12 months. Set goals that
7.
can be measured.
Goal 1: My first goal is to do extensive research on Goal 2: After achieving the first goal, the next goal
the project. This would entail the utilization of of my venture would be to unite all members of my

enhance & refine the features of my project. project. Me and my team members would
incorporate the key aspects of parleys into our
project. Moreover, I shall consult the eyewear
experts of my country in this project.
Goal 3: Goal 3 would involve collecting of all parts Goal 4: The final important goal which I want to
necessary for venture and building of CAD designs achieve is the building of finished designs of all
for discussions among team members. parts and to assemble them in frame and to give
them a trial run for the end users.
After intensive research & discussions on the CAD
designs. At this stage, I shall build prototypes of
the venture and would ensure its success on first
run.

Who are the team members? List up to four and describe each person’s roles and
8.
responsibilities.
MUHAMMAD IBRAHIM ATIF HUSSAIN

Other team members: NIL

How are you going to recruit new members? How will you keep Team Members and
9.
volunteers interested?
Genv.net and extensive media campaign would provide me continuous help to attract more and more
people to utilize their productivity and use their beneficial advice for successful completion of this
project. As I am continuously in touch with some of the qualified technicians and engineers within and
outside the country, so if any member and volunteer leave this project there would be no question of the
failure and jamming of this project.
I will keep my team memebrs involved and interested in my project by organising weekly meetings and
gatherings to inform them of the latest developments in the project.
10. How will you put new leaders in place when current leaders leave?
I am the lead venturer of this project and other members, volunteers and friends would provide me help
for the completion of this project. The entire process from induction to the retention will move smoothly
as I decide to induct the members through a contractual process. This will ensure the timely and
unhindered completion of my project.
How will you continue to fund your project once the Youth Venture seed funding grant is
11.
spent?
I am seeking for funds, donations and other forms of succor from donor agencies and government
institutions since the day of informal acceptance of my venture. I hope that these institutions would
provide me help. Otherwise I would generate and utilize personal funds upto $200 to support my
venture.
