 Set of level Horizontality

Objective(s):

- Set the level into a horizontally state.

Instrument(s):

- Level.

Procedures:

- Hold the three legs of the device vertically as they touches the ground.
- Open the three ****** of the legs.
- Raise up the three legs to a suitable height.
- Close the three ****** of the legs.
- Move the three legs away so that the surface of looks quite a bit horizontal.
- Fix the device.
- Rotate the ***** Clockwise or Counterclockwise so that the bubble located in
the center of the circle.

Observation(s):

We observe that the level's surface is now horizontally.

Longitudinal Survey

Objective(s):

- Calculate the difference in height of several points.

- Calculate the reduced level of several points.

Instrument(s):

- Level
- Staff ( 2m or above )
- Tape ( 30m or More )
Procedures:

- Set the device horizontally as shown above.

- Put the staff on the top of a B.M and record the read.
- Put the staff at the start of the road and record the read.
- Repeatedly every 10m along the road, put the staff and record the reads
Notice the read is denied if it's less than 5cm.
