Homework Update Wish List

For Standards Based Grading

Any child earning a 2 in reading and/
or math as an overall grade on their
report card will be considered for
retention at the end of the year.
Parent Connection
Ways to help your child:
*Encourage your child to read, read,
read a variety of text (both fiction and
nonfiction).
*Review addition and subtraction facts.
Begin to memorize multiplication facts
with your child.
*Encourage your child to develop good
study habits and organizational skills.
*Ask them about their day with guiding
questions. Ex- What was the most
exciting thing you did today? How did
you help someone today?
Reminders
* PTA is invaluable in helping to
organize and fund additional programs
for our students. Please consider
joining. Information was sent home in
your childs Friday Folder.
* Some of our rooms are very chilly.
Your child may want to bring a
sweatshirt or jacket.
