Running Head: How The Persian Gulf Governments Spread Ignorance
Running Head: How The Persian Gulf Governments Spread Ignorance
Mahdi Alabbas
The subject to which the paper shall correspond to is Agnotology; which is the making
and spreading of ignorance. As such, the paper shall address the issue of Agnotology and its
spread through explaining how the governments of Persian Gulf used the Culture obscurantism
in the societies. Addressing how Cultural obscurantism spreads ignorance. Such kinds of the
Persian Gulf governments are Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, Iran and Qatar among others.
Additionally, the paper shall also include an explanation of what role religious institutions play
in the spread of ignorance. Lastly, inculcating how the government used educational systems in
spreading ignorance.
How the governments of Persian Gulf used the Culture obscurantism in the societies
The governments of Persian Gulf used the Culture obscurantism in the societies in gaining
benefits to themselves. As such, these governments using the available resources in gaining favor
to them at the expense of the inhabited communities. For instance, as McKernan (2017) explains,
the Culture obscurantism is highly displayed when the Persian Gulfs governments impose
taxes on the financial resources of the Shia. The taxing was done with an aim of funding the
diplomatic, especially due to the interests the British had explored in the Gulf countries.
The Culture obscurantism was highly backed up by the repressive policy towards the Shia. In
that through the policy, there was inculcation of forced conversion that faced criticism from the
communities not affiliated with Islamic deeds. Thereby, mandating for the conversion that called
those not of the Persian Guilt origin rejectionist (Khashan, 2017). A term applied since the
eight century by the government to various groups. However, used today as a general term.
While historically, the same governments have acted as arbiter between the influential and
non-influential Saudi clerics. Giraldi (2017) adds that arbitration simply implicated in protecting

the Persian communities for the extreme demands from the international communities demands
that force conversion or execution of failing to adhere to the international demands of humanity
and citizenship; demands that have concurrently placated the people of the Persian Gulf.
The severity of the Culture obscurantism has however been fluctuating over years. Notably,
Kampmark (2017) outlines that leading to the communities of the Persian Gulf maintaining a
fraught historical relationship with other states. Hence, erupting in campaigns of civil
Agnotology is the study of ignorance making, one that is lost and its forgotten. For instance, one
focus would be on ignorance making through knowledge that could have been but was not meant
to be, one that should have been but its not. As such, human beings are always not aware of the
structure and scope of the ignorance displayed before them. In that, ignorance does not just
become a blank space on the mental map of a person. There is coherence, contours or rules of
operation as well.
Notably, ignorance spreads through three main concepts. Concepts that human beings live
through from day to day. The first one is epistemology. Philosophers would like to talk about
knowledge, a field that is wholly devoted to a reflection that is tied to weighty conferences.
Epistemology being a field that is taught worldwide and in various academic platforms has
becomes a huge spread of ignorance. Epistemology is divided into two; both moral and socially,
unto which both are sacred and close to peoples heart. As such, epistemology becomes a
serious business.

Secondly is through philosophy. Through philosophy, there is the realization that ignorance has
many friends as well as enemies. Likewise, ignorance figures big in everything from the
propagandas of trade association to military operations to the slogans that are chanted by
children. For instance, lawyers would often think about philosophy as it often surfaces in the tort
litigations and product liability. As such, indicating the many surrogates that ignorance has; one
that overlaps through censorship, apathy, forgetfulness, faith, stupidity and secrecy. Thereby,
through the popular rhetoric, ignorance would therefore find its way through a complex sexual
in the sense of having the need of correction where there is natural absence of adequate
knowledge that has not yet spread. Hereby, a founding principle of the liberal states as people
want to know things they would rather others have no knowledge about. The rights to privacy
that accords to themselves without sharing the same interest with others is sanctioned as
ignorance. A practical example of such exploration is that some of the liberal governments are
barred from knowing everything and in the quest of such, warranty must be granted. Another
Religious institution through the beliefs inculcated in their followers widely spread ignorance. In
most cases, religions do differ from culture. The separation of these two becomes a strong
conviction into which ignorance is spread. Religion in context also differs from themselves. For
instance, Christianity for ages has differed widely from Islamic religion. The difference in these

between the different religious sides that people to decide to take upon. Differences existing even
if uniformization become the result of optical illusions as opposed to the expected theoretical
convergence.
For instance, the different religions emulate different concepts such as those of festivals that are
introduced religious festivals along the lines of Easters and Christmas for the Christian
community in which people of this denomination are not expected to work. The whole idea of
not working is typically in the line of Judeo-Christianity, an idea that is emulated by other

In contradiction to Science
In accordance to Ignatius (2016), it has been known all over that most religious institutions and
religious leaders do not take sides in scientific innovations and ideas. Most of the beliefs have
been contradicting with each other. With religion believing that nature should take place while

as science would prove more than one times that an idea is a fact, one that would help the human
kind, religion always differ with such propositions. The rigidity in sticking and believing of
inherited ideas creates a paradox for followers of these religions setting up a certain mindset
(Rose and Marcos, 2017). Therefore, spreading ignorance through the lack of shedding light on
How the governments of Persian Gulf used educational system to spread ignorance?
The governments of Persian Gulf use educational system to induce and spread ignorance through
various platforms. Educational systems have been made to operate in specific ways that are
particular to how the governments want them to be. As such, the governments have set out
regulations on what kind of information is to be given to the students (Lepore, 2016). Hence
limiting the knowledge and exposure that the students are supposed to be accorded to.
The students in these educational systems therefore grow up inculcating the knowledge that has
been passed to them. Fang (2015) highlighting that much more considering the information that

have enhanced educational reforms that ensure avoidable selectivity. Learners in these
educational systems have been unknowingly subjected to avoidable selectivity. In that, they are
inculcated to beliefs that those ones opposing their Islamic beliefs are an enemy to their progress.
According to this system, those who follow the Islamic religion are the righteous one; leading to

government has carefully scrutinized the information found in all the available platforms. That
is, inclusive of academic websites, e-books, books and revision materials. In that, there has been
deliberate and careful omission of information considered standard on a global level. For
instance, pre-historical information that has placed the Persian Gulf countries on the negative
side of development have been omitted. In a way that learners are imparted with knowledge in
believing that their systems are right and justified and there should be no compromise.
The book Erotic Margin depicts that sharing and accepting of information from the western
would be a form of colonialism. Hence the preference of lacking of such information at ones
disposal. The book referred to unknowledge as the difference from ignorance in denoting the
conscious in nature. In the book, a term is used. The term is terra incognita that denotes the
reconstruction of parts of the globe that are uncharted territory. Instead of using such resources
as platforms of gaining information, subjection was made to colonialism (Raschke, 2015). The
production of unknowledge thereby became the transformation of those parts into potential

How the Persian Gulf Governments Spread
Ignorance 8
Ignorance has been a factor that we live in but that is unaware to many. Ignorance, therefore,
exists in various forms. However, the countries in the Persia Gulf have widely acknowledged
and embraced ignorance in a wide way. Majorly through the governments which have used their
power in spreading ignorance. Additionally, ignorance has been seen to widely prevalent to the
Persian Gulf communities due to the kind of civilization in which the people live in. There have
been wide cases of discrimination, discrimination against those not of the religious affiliations.
Religious institutions and educational systems have therefore been largely affiliated to spreading
ignorance. As such, the objectives of the paper have been met. The paper has clearly outlined

platforms that are available to them. Agnotology, which has been seen to be not entirely bad
