Renaissance Project

Instructions: This project will be completed individually and in class.

Choose a figure from the Renaissance period from the hat. Using the
first and last name of your historical figure to create an acrostic poem
highlighting the life of your person. Make sure to include a picture of
your person.

Example: (Leonardo da Vinci)

Lived in Italy during the renaissance

Enjoyed painting and science

Once was considered the greatest painter in the world

Never gave up trying to create new technologies such as the airplane

Almost always used oil for his paintings, but was also known for his
sculptures

Really smart in math, science, anatomy, geology, botany, writing and

history

Died in 1519 in Italy

Only a few paintings can be sold, most of his work is in museums and
are considered to be priceless
