to realise
If inside it survives
awakened it thrives
It radiates and emanates
alike a ripple in a pond
Love energy travels beyond
the senses that perceive
outside the limits
of what you’ve been taught
or believed to be true
The devil and the god you fear
is really You
This temple you hide and seek
is ideally You
Listen to your inner voice
Can you hear the truth
in the schizophrenic noise
We all have more than one choice
Decisions and consequences
Illusions and false pretences
 Excuses are defences
Revolution before the solution
What makes you feel stronger
could as easily make you weak...
willed
Unfulfilled
Admit it
A pretend peace
engenders distress
It’s part of the process
You create the mess
and shine your own shit
Looking for short-cuts
or a feeling in the guts
A flame or a fire
to blame or desire
Just as lower opposes higher
in the trough and peak
Imbalance in balance
Chemical freak
We all want a release
Stop!
Think!
Addicted smokers
Additive drink
Articulating chains
form a vaporous link
in the cold air
Do you see a face there
Do you recognise
the unknowing stare from your own eyes
Whoever or whatever you criticise
May see what you are
through their lies
Avoiding
Evading
Annoying
Invading
They’ve been there
but you are unaware
that some see where you are
They will proffer distraction
They will offer direction
It is up to your reaction
your acceptance or rejection
of LOVE.
