Activity
The teacher will show students a PowerPoint explaining what the future tense is in
Spanish and how to conjugate verbs that end in ar and er/-ir in the future tense. This
will also include irregular verbs such as ir, ser, and querer.

After explaining the future tense, the teacher will present a slide to the students with
only a verb visible and ask them to conjugate the verb in the future tense in one of the
forms. For example, the verb hablar will appear on the projector screen. The teacher
will tell the students, Conjugate the verb hablar in the future tense, yo form (first
person) After the students give their final answers; the teacher will reveal the correct
answer.

Lastly, students will create an online vision board depicting their future goals. This can
include anything from where they want to live after they graduate from college to what
career they want to pursue. They will create their vision board online by uploading
images from Google on a template provided by canva.com and present them to the
class.

This activity will allow students to practice forming sentences using the future verb
tense, orally and written.
