Subject: Technical Documentation for Project 2

In this memo, I provide planning decisions for deliverables 2 and 3 for project 2. The term I
chose for both the description and definition is Amino Acid. The sections below will present
my audience, purpose, how I plan to I plan to extend my definition, and organizational
pattern for the technical description.

Audience:
My audience for this project (for both the definition and description) is any science based
college student. They should have heard the term Amino Acid in high school based classes,
and know they are located in our bodies and plants, but nothing further.

Purpose:
My purpose is to help students gain an understanding of what amino acids are made out of and
how they are made. I will achieve this through text with visual.

Extended Technical Definition:

Through extending my definition I will define key terms involving different parts of Amino
acids. This will help the audiences understanding when describing the final building process. I
will describe amino acids and compare them to cookie dough and cookie dough additives.

Technical Description Organizing Pattern:

I will use the parts to whole pattern to describe the three main parts of Amino Acids main
structure and what they are made out of. I found a structural picture of the atom and will
change the descriptions to match accordingly.
