Title: Analysis and Evaluation of the Use of E-Learning Software on Subjects, such as

Accounting Information System, Speech Communication and Personality Development


of Accounting Students in the University of the East- Caloocan Campus

Chapter 1 Introduction

Technology is very relevant to our lives, in everything we do we always apply

technology. And it is not only useful in the daily routines of our lives but also on more

important things like Medicine and Education. As students, we only wants what will most

benefit our welfare, and one of those benefits is to get the best learning and knowledge

we can get while we are in our studies, that is why technology is very relevant when it

comes to education. It makes our youth informed and knowledgeable on the phase of

the world, what is trend and what is not. For the past school years, University of the

East has been using the E-Learning Software in conducting undergraduate subjects

such as Speech Communication, Personality Development and Accounting Information

Systems, which is a good thing as the University is keeping up with the pace of the

technological advancement of the world. However, if there are advantages of using this

system software, there is for sure disadvantage that may affect the students

performance which is the reason of conducting this study as to assess the effectiveness

of the use of E- Learning software, to know the benefits of this software in the students

point of view, as well as to discover the negative effects of the said software. Is it really

beneficial for the students, or the negative effects outweighs its benefits?
Statement of the Problem

Main Problem: Effectivity of the use of E-Learning Software in subjects such as, Speech

Communication, Personality Development, and Accounting Information Systems of the

Accounting students of University of the East-Caloocan Campus.

Specific Problems

1. What are the benefits of E Learning software for the accounting students?

2. What are the disadvantages of E Learning software for the accounting students?

3. Does using E Learning software enhances the classroom performance of the

students?

4. How does the E-Learning software affects the study habits of the students?

5. What are the limitations in the use of E Learning software?

6. Do the professors efficiently and effectively facilitates the subjects using E

Learning software?
